At the leading edge of up-and-coming producers, Mexico’s maverick KinAhau has stepped in as one of the most exciting emerging acts in the scene. A carefully crafted sound and club-driven groove earned his debut records widespread acclaim with countless appearances on sets by the industry’s heavyweights such as Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Ilario Alicante, and Joseph Capriati.

2022 earned some stripes for the 19-year-old producer, with his heartily expected Solid Grooves debut and go-to summer cut for its co-founders PAWSA and Michael Bibi ‘Turned Turk’ since its debut at Circoloco’s opening party in Ibiza and key appearance in Sunwaves, closing as one of the top-selling minimal records of the year.

 

It came as no surprise when Solid Grooves luminaire and industry legend Michael Bibi recently partnered alongside KinAhau for “Different Side” featuring UK’s electronic du Audio Bullys. Soundtracked nights at The Grooves Motel at DC-10 through to ELOVATE events across the globe from New York to London, sampling iconic vocals from Audio Bullys’ 2003 hit single We Don't Care, Solid Grooves' opener record for the year needed little introduction as it was one of the most highly anticipated ID requests in the scene for the past year.

 

The anthemic production within its first week rapidly ascent up the Beatport charts an saw the likes of names such as Paco Osuna, Seth Troxler, Skream, Ilario Alicante, Danny Howard, Pete Tong, and Jamie Jones just to name a few. It was featured in Billboard’s latest ‘Top 5 Dance Tracks’ and London’s Evening Standard ‘What We're Listening To’ as well as Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune and Sarah story’s Future Dance Track ID on BBC Radio 1.

 

With a portfolio of unreleased club cuts resonating across the biggest stages in the globe, KinAhau has quickly become one of the names to watch for 2023.
