Jansons’ chart-topping music on labels like Knee Deep In Sound, Hot Creations, Circus and 8Bit are all united by one thing – his love of all forms of house music. He writes positive records with uplifting emotions and a timeless feel. Drawing on his experience as a sound engineer, Jansons knows exactly how to convert those feelings into sonics with real structure and a narrative. A Jansons release is always rooted in the realness of the classics rather than following fads or trends.

In the studio – his dexterity on his synths and drum machines has caught some serious attention from fans and tastemakers alike with hundreds of thousands of people viewing his studio sessions online. They are clips that offer an insight into his masterful production process, where he jams on his machines rather than just programming software. They are irresistibly catchy and will be interwoven into his all-new hybrid live show after years of DJing at seminal events and venues such as Watergate Berlin, BPM Portugal and Manchester’s Warehouse Project.

The new live show will see Jansons rework his own productions with creative transitions and onthe-fly edits. He will deconstruct and rebuild his own material live with the expertise of a master musician and the crowd reading abilities of a seasoned DJ.

After serving up one of some of the biggest records of recent years on Circus Recordings, Jansons repeated the trick in 2022 with prolific producer Skream on their collaborative single ‘World Is Empty’. It’s a powerful track with epic breakbeats, a classic Supremes sample and a driving electro bassline that is lighting up global dance floors and daytime radio alike.

‘World Is Empty’ was one of many Jansons and Skream wrote during lockdown. Initially a secret weapon for their own DJ sets, the reactions from it were so wild it made sense to release it into the world via the influential CircoLoco Records. Jansons’ upcoming release schedule is a testament to his hard work and dedication, with further collaborations with Skream as well as Richy Ahmed to come, not to mention plenty more solo records.
