De La Swing (aka Domingo Bellot) has become one of the most solid DJs and producers on the electronic scene in Spain, Europe and the world. The Madrid native was influenced at the beginning of his career by the sounds of icons such as Laurent Garnier, Fatboy Slim or The Chemical Brothers, without letting a single style take over his repertoire. Genres such as d&b, techno and house have marked his career, but also cuts closer to broken rhythms, such as the hip-hop exhibited by Mos Def, Cypress Hill or DJ Shadow, among many others.
A lot of time has passed and De La Swing has experienced a notable evolution in his sound, which currently navigates close to minimal, deep and sounds closer to classic house. Being a highly sought-after artist in scenes such as the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, also consolidating strongly in the USA and all of South America, De La Swing has also conquered more exotic destinations, such as the United Arab Emirates, South Africa or Australia.
An adopted son of Barcelona, if anything has stood out in De La Swing's recent career it is his involvement and fundamental role as a resident of one of the most important clubbing brands on the planet. Being an active part of the elrow family, De La Swing has established himself as one of the reference artists within its roster, becoming
a resident in his own right both at elrow Barcelona and at its parties in Ibiza (elrow Ibiza). Memorable moments such as the closing of Space Ibiza in 2016 are now behind us and De La Swing has managed to establish himself in elrow's new home in Ibiza, Amnesia. But his dominance has not stopped there, being one of the favourites of the Ibizan public also at Blue Marlin, Sankeys or the legendary DC10, Privilege or Ushuaïa Ibiza.
Thanks to his work and effort, clubs around the world regularly feature him, both in Spain (elrow, Input, Pacha Barcelona, Fabrik and Mondo in Madrid, Industrial Copera in Granada or Papagayo Night Club, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria) and in Latin America, where De La Swing has strengthened its presence in recent years. Not in vain, he can call his home in great clubs such as PM Open Air, Zeef, Rio Electronic, Metropolitano or BNP, in Argentina; La Feria or Club del Sol Sunshine, in Chile; Lost Beach, in Montañita (Ecuador), Blue Parrot or Hardpop (Mexico); Salón Amador (Colombia); or La Tribu, in Lima (Peru). Not to mention his regular presence in Europe and the United Kingdom, in clubs such as Tobacco Dock, Fabric, Ministry Of Sound, Warehouse Project, Egg London, Village Underground (United Kingdom); Social Music Club, Cocorico, Amnesia Milano or Bolgia (Italy); or De Marktkantine and Massilo (Netherlands).
Her regular residency at elrow's itinerant parties has led her to take the stages of the world's main festivals, such as Tomorrowland in Belgium; Streetparade in Zurich; Parklife at Heaton Park in Manchester; Glastonbury in Somerset; elrow Town or Lovebox in London; Hideout Festival in Croatia; Family Picnic in Montpellier; Output and Flash Factory in New York; Halcyon in San Francisco; Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas; as well as Space, Treehouse or Heart in Miami (USA); the legendary Mysteryland, Loveland or 18H Festival in the Netherlands; or Ultra Music Festival in South Africa. And we cannot forget major national events: Dreambeach Villaricos or her sessions at the head of elrow Stage at the legendary Monegros Desert Festival.
De La Swing has also strengthened her role as label manager and A&R for the elrow Music label, making her one of the references for the most rogue sound. The label, which is a regular on the number ones on platforms such as Beatport, has now diversified its sound with its satellite label, elrow Limited, dedicated to more select, deep and underground sounds.
Charismatic, full of energy, deep and groove: De La Swing's sets have evolved a lot in recent years, always displaying his familiarity with an audience that loves him and demands more every day. This has led him to evolve his sound, combining his time in the booth with hours and hours in the studio, and to publish on labels such as Surge, Pitch, Cécille, Rendr, Deeperfect or Glasgow Underground, as well as on elrow Music itself and elrow Limited.
This hard work has paid off, and in 2021 De La Swing has been recognized with the cover of the May edition of the prestigious publication DJ Mag, in its edition in Spain. A milestone that will forever be marked in the retina of the clubbing world. Whether as a resident of elrow, in his various national and international commitments, handling the ins and outs of elrow Music and elrow Limited or producing his own works in the studio and publishing on vinyl only labels, De La Swing is a sure bet for music with depth, finesse, style and a lot of groove.
